Professional Experience

Technical Engineering Intern

Shaw Industries Plant 65

Andalusia, AL | May 2024 – Aug 2024

  • Spearheaded the development of a high-precision measurement process for a critical polymer quench system.
  • Designed, coded, assembled, and rigorously validated a custom device (patent pending) to replace an inconsistent legacy method.
  • Achieved a multi-fold reduction in measurement variability, enhancing process control and quality assurance.
  • Conducted thorough data analysis to quantify the limitations of the existing system and justify the new approach.

Undergraduate Research Assistant

Electrochemistry Lab (Dr. P. Pathirathna), Florida Tech

Melbourne, FL | Jan 2023 – Present

  • Contributed significantly to multiple projects involving electrochemical detection of metal ions (Cd, As, Cr) and neurotransmitters (Adrenaline).
  • Developed Python scripts for automated data processing and analysis of voltammetric and ITIES data.
  • Optimized electrode fabrication, modification (AuNP), and storage protocols for improved sensor performance and longevity.
  • Currently leading an independent research project on Chromium detection using Fast-Scan Cyclic Voltammetry (FSCV).
